About Sun Peaks Resort
Sun Peaks Resort is a charming award-winning ski in-ski out, alpine village, located in the heart of British Columbia, Canada. The village boasts a range of accommodations, restaurants, boutiques and outdoor activities at your doorstep including a comprehensive variety of snow sports and the annual Winter Okanagan Wine Festival. A favorite for Australian families, skiers enjoy almost 4000 acres of terrain on light dry, easy to ski powder, stretched over three mountains all conveniently surrounding the hamlet of the village.
As Canada's only Mountain Resort Municipality, and second largest resort in BC next to Whistler, Sun Peaks enjoys an average of 2000 hours of sunshine and close to 6 meters of powder annually and was recently declared the 2nd Best Ski Resort in Canada and 13th Best in North America by Condé Nast Traveller Magazine readers in 2010.
